North Head 10k Course Description
The North Head 10K is held within the North Head National Park and follows two laps of Scenic Drive between the entrance to the park and the loop at North Head. The course is open to traffic and other users. Kilometres are marked with cones and there is a water station near the start and finish line.
Parking
Parking is in the car park on Gunners Road next to the Barracks. Access to the car park is from Bluefish Drive. Please avoid accessing the car park from Scenic Drive.
Meeting area
Bib pick-up and meeting area is in the Barracks Precinct next to the parade ground.
Start
The start and finish line is on North Fort Road at the entrance to the Barracks Precinct.
Course description
The course follows Scenic Drive north towards the entrance and runners turn around outside the archway and continue along Scenic Drive to the end of the road at North Head. After running around the loop at North Head runners return along Scenic Drive to the entrance archway. Runners complete two full laps of Scenic Drive before finishing in North Fort Road.
